My Rabbitry/How it all began
How did I get started? Why rabbits? Why, Why, Why?
Why because I love rabbits.
It all started last year, when I entered 7th grade and I had agriculture(this was before I became homeschooled). I loved my agriculture teacher, he was so helpful and he made agriculture so much fun. Well I began to love ag. so much that I joined FFA (I am now in 4 - H) after school. Well he began talking about different shows that you could do and different animals that you could show. He went on about steers,lambs,pigs,and rabbits. Well I thought it would be very cool and fun to do, and the only thing my mom would ever allow me to have would be rabbits. I got my very first rabbit shortly after (Sandman) and love him dearly. And then I got another after that from my sister for christmas, Dymond Bolt. And then, well you can see it went on and on until I now have 7 and still plan to get more. I really never thought that I would ever be interested in rabbits but now I couldnt imagine a day go by without them. And to think it was all because of my interest in FFA and ag. I to this day am so happy that I went to FFA and am still in a club, 4 - H because it has changed my life. Everyone who knows me says I am different and am more confident and happy. I am just happy that I am able to have rabbits and I wouldnt trade them for the world.
I want to give a big thanks to everyone who helped me get my rabbits, sold me my rabbits and of course to my wonderful mother who allowed me to have them and is helping me pursue my dream. THANKS!
